Five Yoga Poses To Increase Your Height

Have you ever been mocked by your friends because you are a couple of inches short in comparison to them? Have you ever been turned down from a major job offer like in military and modeling because you are just two inches short from the requirement? Well, there are some Yogic Poses that can help you gain your full height. However, patience and daily practice are must in order to gain full advantages of those techniques.

To be truthful, an average person’s vertical growth almost stops when he reaches 22 years age. However, the cartilages in our spinal cord are so unnecessarily compact and closed together that if we are able to expand them a little, we might be able to gain about 2 inches of height. You might have heard about the astronauts, who after coming back from a trip in space grow taller. It is because, in space, where gravity isn’t able to exert its pull on your spine, and so the cartilages move apart from each other, consequently making the person look taller. The person loses his additional height after a few weeks. That is the case with the Yogic Positions too. If we do not practice them regularly, we might lose what we have gained. So be consistent folks…

1.             Surya Namaskar or The Sun Salutation

3.                Chakrasana
Chakrasana consists of bending your body backwards as you rest your body on your palms and feet. It is an exercise that will undo the compact cartilages and pieces of bones that are tightly held together in your spine.

4.             Hastapadasana
Hastapadasana involves touching your feet with your palm such that your body is in complete contact with the front part of your legs. This posture is especially useful to those who have short torso. Continuous and regular practice of such exercise will result in increase in height in long term.

5.              Trikonasana
Last but not the least is Trikonasana, which is also commonly termed as the triangle pose. You might have performed Trikonasana as a stretching exercise; you might just not know it. Trikonasana refers to pose where your feet are far apart and you try to touch the right toe with right hand while left hand is erected in the air. Similar action is repeated on the left side. However, breath coordination is necessary and it’s important that you do not jolt.

10 Reasons You Should Visit Nepal

1.     Nepal is exceptionally beautiful

Nepal is really, really beautiful, and I am not saying it because I am a Nepali. I have been to a few countries, and have visited some of their tourist attractions but nothing moved me as eloquently as Nepal did.

2.     Nepal is not expensive at all

Well, the tickets prices to Nepal might be a little high but Nepal is a developing country and there are very few places that are commercially aimed for tourists. It will cost you moderately if you go to such places. Even if you chose to wander off from the mainstream attractions, and explore the places where very few of the tourists have been, you will not go broke either. But, take a Nepali friend along with you, so that you don’t get lost.

3.     Nepali love tourists

There’s a saying in Nepal and India, amongst the Hindu cultures – “Atithi Devo Bhawa”, simply put, “Guests are God”. And since Nepal is predominantly a Hindu nation, people do possess that sentiment. It may not apply to those areas which are vastly commercialized but people are helpful to tourists. Don’t mind if they charge you a ten or twenty more cents for the stuffs you buy, that is only because they think you’re filthy rich to come to visit such a distant land.

4.     Biological and geographical diversity

The diversity of Nepal is the reason for its beauty and that diversity calls in for ethnic, biological and geographical diversity. For a country that possesses only 0.03% of the total land in world, Nepal is an extremely rich of flora and fauna and is house to different rare and endangered species including the Bengal Tiger and the One Horned Rhino. Not to miss the 856 species of birds only. With a geography that extends from 60 to 8848 meters from the sea level, Nepal houses the plain terrains, rugged hills and the snow-capped Himalayas.

5.     Cultural and Ethnic Diversity

Within a territory of 1,47,181 km, 109 different languages are spoken, and the variety in the culture with each of them is distinct in its own way. The type of diet, customs, tradition and festivals differ from culture to culture.
Different villages across the country have been developed into home-stays that offer hospitality in a traditional way, pertaining to the culture and tradition of the owners. It is in such place where the tourists get to experience of the rural life strictly native to the land.

Nepal is the only country that has the Mount Everest

Nepal is the home to the tallest mountain in the world, the Mount Everest. Apart from Everest, there are 6 out of 10 mountains above the height of 8000 m are located in Nepal. If you are a mountaineering enthusiast, Nepal is the place for you. And even if you are a whole other breed of adrenaline junkie, you can have all the adventures you want. Nepal serves you with bungee jumping, rafting, canoeing, paragliding, cayoning and of course, trekking.

7.     Experience the peace and serenity.

Nepal is a pious land for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims around the world, and every small and big conveys the message of peace and friendship. Although Nepal is home to Gurkha, the brave and fearsome warriors, Nepali people strongly believe in peace.
The hills of Nepal are sparsely populated and so are the mountainous reasons. Thus, Nepal has places that are so beautiful, and yet to be commercialized and populated. If you are lucky, you might find a guide who can take you to those places.

8.     Water Resources

Nepal is abundant in water resources containing around 6000 rivers and a significant amount of lakes. The perennial rivers are source of recreation all around the air, most of them having potential for rafting and other activities relating to entertainment. In addition to that, Nepal has several lakes, ponds and reservoirs that captivate the hearts of onlookers.

9.     Fooooooooooooood

Nepali cuisine, and diet is one thing you just can’t hate. Although several food items are derived from dishes of Tibetan and Indian origin, they have been Nepalified to people’s taste. Although the basic staple is rice, the auxiliary sustenance for the food varies from culture to culture. Besides that, there are thousands of others dishes across the land that you can’t just have once.

10.      Nepal is exceptionally beautiful

Oh! Sorry… I already said that!
